Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Digital Content Editor to join The Aesthetic CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for curating, editing, and publishing high-quality digital content across our website, magazine editions, and online platforms. You will ensure all content aligns with our brand’s voice, maintains editorial accuracy, and is optimized for SEO and audience engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

Editing and proofreading articles, features, and interviews for accuracy, clarity, and tone.

Collaborating with writers, designers, and contributors to produce visually engaging and reader-friendly content.

Managing content uploads, formatting, and scheduling on our digital platforms.

Ensuring all content is SEO-optimized and aligned with editorial guidelines.

Monitoring content performance and recommending improvements to enhance reach and engagement.

Supporting the editorial team with the production of digital magazine editions and event coverage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, write, and edit articles, interviews, and features for digital/print.
  • Conduct industry research to support editorial content.
  • Coordinate with writers, editors, and contributors to meet deadlines.
  • Fact-check and proofread to maintain accuracy and brand tone.
  • Upload and format content in the CMS (WordPress).
  • Assist with newsletters and digital campaign assets.
  • Maintain the editorial calendar and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with design to ensure visual alignment.
  • Provide administrative support for editorial projects and events.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in editorial, content writing, or publishing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital content trends.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite or Canva is a plus.
